Course Overview

*DISCLAIMER* Please only join this session if you've attended our Getting Started With Data Studio Session or if you have some experience using Data Studio.

Data Studio is Google Workspace's dashboarding and reporting application. It allows users to create slick dashboards from a variety of different data sources (including Google Sheets, CSVs, Google Analytics and much more). It allows you to use a variety of fully customisable chart types and user friendly controls to make your data work for you.

At the end of this second live session, you will have a solid understanding of more of the functions available within Data Studio itself. You will be able to use these features to effectively filter and process your data; gain an introduction to blending data from multiple sources and apply global report settings.

What You'll Learn

• Filters - Learn how to build customised filters and apply them at different levels of the report.
• Page and Report Settings - Make items in your report display consistently, so you can sort your branding and design with ease.
• Calculated fields - Get and introduction into Calculated Fields which allow you to apply functions and Boolean logic in order to further process your data.
• Using Different Data Together - Gain an introduction to combining metrics from separate data sources into a single chart using data blends
