Live Learning Co – Accessibility statement
Accessibility Statement for Live LearningCo Learning management system
Live LearningCo is committed to making its Learning management system accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This accessibility statement applies to the Live LearningCo Learning management system.
Measures to support accessibility
Live LearningCo takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Live LearningCo Learning management system:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The Live LearningCo Learning management system is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliance(s) listed below. Partially compliant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
(a) non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Popout menu option not scrollable: When a user selects the menu item in the platform there isn’t an ability to tab select the pages listed in this section. This is because the tab requirement is not implemented throughout the menu selection. We are monitoring the issue as it only occurs when a user has 10+ pages applied to their account. Please raise an issue with us via the help button on the portal.
Additional accessibility considerations
While our formal conformance target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, we have implemented several accessibility measures that exceed Level AA criteria to ensure a better experience for all employees, especially within our Learning Management System (LMS).
Key features that we’ve built into our Learning Management Pages:
- All video content has active captions that can be enabled within the video.
- All learning management pages can be navigated by keyboard.
- All content images and links meet non-text content Level A requirements.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
Live LearningCo Learning management system is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Windows 10/11 Google Chrome (latest stable version) JAWS (Job Access With Speech) (latest version)
- Windows 10/11 Google Chrome (latest stable version) NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) (latest version.
- MacOS Google Chrome (latest stable version) JAWS (Job Access With Speech) (latest version)
- macOS (latest stable version) Google Chrome (latest stable version) VoiceOver (built-in screen reader)
- macOS (latest stable version) Safari (latest stable version) VoiceOver (built-in screen reader)
Live LearningCo Learning management system is not compatible with:
- Outdated Browsers Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) or earlier versions. IE11 is no longer supported by Microsoft and has poor, inconsistent support for modern WAI-ARIA and HTML5 accessibility features required to meet WCAG standards.
- Older Operating Systems Windows 7 or earlier. These operating systems lack the necessary, up-to-date accessibility Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) required for modern browsers and screen readers to communicate effectively.
- Untested AT VoiceOver with Chrome (on macOS) or JAWS with Firefox (on Windows). While these combinations may work, they are not our primary, tested pairings. We cannot guarantee that all complex interactive components in the LMS will function correctly, as different browser/AT pairings handle ARIA differently.
- Legacy/Unsupported AT Window-Eyes, System Access, Older versions of paid AT (e.g., JAWS v2020 or older). Our platform relies on the improved WAI-ARIA support found in the latest screen reader versions. Older versions may misinterpret complex LMS modules (e.g., interactive simulations, drag-and-drop quizzes).
- Linux Environments Any Linux-based OS with Orca (or similar screen reader). Due to the fragmented nature of the Linux ecosystem, we do not officially test against or guarantee full accessibility for this combination. Users are encouraged to try a supported environment (Windows or macOS).
